The current Tory leadership contest is a great example of how not to do communications and PR.
Now thankfully we’re not hiring for a Communications and PR Leader for the Tories, but instead you’ll be using your skill set to help improve access to healthcare.
This is a role where you can really make a difference.
Who would I be working for?
You’ll be working for a company with a long history of being at the forefront of changing healthcare within the UK. Their ambition is to improve access to healthcare for everyone in the UK.
What’s the role?
As our Director of Communications and PR, you will be part of the SLT and work to elevate our perception, while anchoring our purpose authentically. You’ll be responsible for internal and external communications, as well as public affairs, PR, media and social media.
What do I need to be able to do?
-Manage the internal and external communications.
-Work together in teams across all functions to deliver a radically transformed customer experience.
-Lead the relationships with External bodies, and build a strong network of media advocacy to enable impactful coverage.
-Communication channel strategy development, delivery, and optimisation – advertising, public affairs, PR and social media to maximise our reach, impact and thought leadership.
Who do I need to be?
-An energetic, ambitious, digitally minded leader.
-Comfortable with ambiguity, able to execute at pace.
-Motivated by the huge market opportunity in front of this company.
-Effective influencer and communicator for stakeholder management at the highest level.
-A self-starter with an open and honest approach, building strong and collaborative working partnerships.
